Well, while walking for most everyone can only be a good thing, why not try a great horseback riding adventure along the same trails and routes, even further than one might care to walk.
Along the way you'll cross grassy fiels and soft sands by the lakes, travel among many great rock formations not found anywhere else and get a "bird's eye view" of what else, the abundant bird life that surrounds the area of the hotel and beyond. Where and how far you decide to travel is up to you and the sturdy Icelandic horse would be the best vehicle to get you to these wonders and photographic sites.
