Hotel Borgarvirki is a new hotel, located in the northwest part of Iceland, situated between two lakes, Westhope-lake and Hop-lake. Hotel Borgarvirki combines most if not all of the "city hotel" conveniences while situated in a pristine, beautiful enviroment, far from the city, but close to the main "ring roaqd" around Iceland. Therefore it becomes the perfect natural choice for an overnight stop on the way to somewhere else in Iceland, or for several days, totally relaxing in peace, quiet, serenity, and beautiful scenery on all sides..

Quality and excellent customer service are the two main goals of our hotel.  All of our guests, whether staying for a single night or many days are more like valued family members and never thought of as just tourists. Our aim is to make your stay with us, however long a most memorable and meaningful experience that you will always fondly remember..

Our "user friendly" hotel offers excellent facilities for holding  meetings,conferences and other functions. We offer conference facilities for 30-100 persons.  We also have a cozy and rustic dining room and a well stocked bar services is available each evening.

Breakfast is included with the accommodation, but we also offer our buffet breakfast to other travelers as well. Borgarvirki is the perfect stop along the way for a short period of restful relaxation among nature at it's best and sights every camera loves to photograph.  If requested we can quickly fire up the outdoor grill. Nothing is better on a fine summer evening than an outdoor grill and barbeque. Hotel Borgarvirki is open from 1. June to 1. September. However, if you have a group of 20-30 that would like to have a meeting, a conference or just spend a few days among nature, we can, by request open anytime year-round.

Hotel Borgarvirki accommodates up to 33 persons in 15 nice rooms.  8  of those rooms have private
en-suite baths. The other seven rooms come with shared facilities, conveniently located to these room but each also has an in-room wash basin.
